Decyl Glucoside (for making liquid soap)

Making liquid soap from scratch with naturally derived ingredients is so easy with Decyl Glucoside!  Decyl Glucoside is a mild surfactant with great foaming properties that derived from cornstarch and coconut.  It’s produced by reacting glucose from cornstarch with decanol, a fatty alcohol derived from coconut.  Decyl Glucoside is bio-degradeable and eco-friendly.

Decyl glucoside is gentle, so it’s great for sensitive skin and all hair types.  It retains moisture so it’s great for dry skin too!

General usage rate – 2-40%

pH – 11.5-12.5 (Use gloves and eye protection)
