Emulsifying Wax

Emulsifying wax is one of the essential ingredients in making lotions and creams. Adding emulsifying wax to your recipe will keep the oil and water from separating by creating an emulsion between the oil and water and acting like a glue that will hold everything together. Lotions and creams are created from a mixture of water and oils that would separate over time without the addition of emulsifying wax.
